18 — Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions. For anything more detailed, check the linked guide.
Do I need to install other plugins for the cart, wishlist, search, etc.? No. Cart, wishlist, quick view, product comparison, live search, and everything else covered in this guide is built directly into the theme. The only requirement is WooCommerce itself.
Can I use Raftaar Commerce without WooCommerce? No — it's built specifically as a WooCommerce store theme, not a general-purpose theme.
Do I need to know how to code to customize my store? No. Colors, fonts, layout, and every setting covered in Customizing Your Store are all point-and-click. Coding is only needed if you want custom changes beyond what the Customizer and blocks offer.
Will my customizations survive a theme update? Anything set through the Customizer, the block editor, or your product/page content is completely safe and update-proof — it lives in your database, separately from the theme files. If you (or a developer) made direct code edits to the main theme's files, those specific edits could be overwritten by a future update — that's exactly what the included child theme is for. See the child theme note in Getting Started.
Can I move my license to a new domain? Yes, anytime, from the License page — see License, Activation & Updates.
How much does a license cost, and what does it cover? Annual: $79 for the first year, then $29/year to renew (billed automatically unless cancelled). Lifetime: $349 one-time, no renewals. Either way, a license activates on one domain at a time.
I'm launching a second store — do I need to buy another license? Yes. A license only covers one active domain at a time. If you want to run two (or more) separate Raftaar Commerce stores simultaneously, each one needs its own license. If you're instead replacing one site with another (not running both), use Transfer License to move your existing license over instead of buying a new one — see License, Activation & Updates.
Does this work with page builder plugins like Elementor? Raftaar Commerce is built around WordPress's native block editor and its own custom blocks (see Building Pages with Blocks). If you use a separate page-builder plugin, check with support about compatibility before relying on it heavily.
Can I sell downloadable/digital products? Yes — this is a standard WooCommerce capability, and the theme's My Account area includes a Downloads tab for customers automatically.
Does the theme support subscriptions, bundles, or deposits? Not natively — these typically require a separate WooCommerce extension. See the compatibility note in Troubleshooting before purchasing an add-on like this, since the theme's fully custom product page can limit what such plugins are able to display.
Is the theme translation-ready? Yes, including full right-to-left language support. See Performance & SEO.
What happens if my license lapses? Your site stays online and your content is never deleted — but you'll stop receiving updates, visitors will see a small "this theme is not licensed" bar at the bottom of every page, and a number of front-end features may start behaving inconsistently. Reactivating restores everything immediately. See License, Activation & Updates.
How do I get support? Through your license portal account, where you purchased your license.
