12 — Your Account

The customer-facing account area — where shoppers manage their orders, addresses, and saved items.

#What's included

The My Account page gives each customer their own dashboard, opening on an overview showing their avatar, name, email, how long they've been a member, and real totals for their order count and amount spent. If a customer hasn't added a billing address yet, a friendly prompt nudges them to add one. Below that, a "Recently Viewed" strip shows products they've recently looked at, making it easy to pick up where they left off.

From there, the account area includes:

• Orders — order history and status.
• Downloads — for any downloadable products you sell.
• Addresses — saved shipping/billing addresses.
• Account Details — name, email, and password.
• Wishlist — everything they've saved (see Wishlist).
• Payment methods — if your chosen payment gateway supports saved cards/methods, this tab appears automatically; otherwise it's simply not shown.

This is WooCommerce's standard account system, fully re-styled to match the rest of your store, with the overview dashboard, Recently Viewed strip, and Wishlist tab added on top.

#Nothing to configure

This works automatically once WooCommerce is active — there's no separate setup needed. If you want to control whether customers can create an account during checkout (rather than only from a dedicated registration page), that's a toggle in Customize → Cart & Checkout — see Cart & Checkout.
