Fast, built-in search — no plugin required.

#Instant search-as-you-type

Clicking the search icon opens a search box that shows matching results instantly as the customer types, without needing to press Enter or load a new page. If nothing matches, it shows a small set of recent products instead of a dead end.

If a customer does press Enter (or searches from somewhere that leads to a full results page), they land on a dedicated search page with two tabs — Products and Articles — so results from your shop and your blog don't get mixed together. If you don't use WooCommerce-specific search at all, this automatically simplifies down to a single combined results list.

#Troubleshooting

• Search returns no results for something I know exists. Very short search terms (1–2 characters) use a simpler, less precise matching method than longer searches — try typing a bit more. If this keeps happening for a specific term, check that your license is active, as search is one of the features affected by license state — see License, Activation & Updates.
