10 — Compare Products

Let customers compare up to 4 products side by side — attributes, price, rating, and stock status, all in one table.

#Turning it on

This feature is off by default. To enable it:

1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Shop & Products → Product Cards.
2. Turn on Show Compare button.
3. Click Publish.

Once enabled, a "compare" icon appears on product cards.

#How it works for customers

1. Customer clicks the compare icon on any product they're interested in.
2. A small tray appears showing everything they've added to compare so far (up to 4 products).
3. Clicking the tray opens a full side-by-side comparison table — SKU, price, rating, stock status, description, and product attributes, lined up column by column.

This is entirely saved in the customer's browser, so it doesn't require them to be logged in.

#Troubleshooting

• Nothing happens when I click the compare icon. Double check the Compare setting is actually turned on in the Customizer (it's off by default on a fresh install).
• The comparison drawer opens but stays empty/loading. Try refreshing the page. If it keeps happening, check that your license is active — see License, Activation & Updates.
