13 — Marketing & Conversion Tools
A collection of small features designed to build trust and encourage purchases.
WhatsApp button
A floating "Chat on WhatsApp" button that opens a pre-filled conversation with your business number.
To turn it on:
- Go to Customize → Marketing → WhatsApp Button.
- Enable it and enter your WhatsApp phone number — the button won't appear without a number entered, even if the toggle is on.
- Choose whether it shows on every page, or only on product pages.
- Optionally customize the pre-filled message text.
Exit-intent popup
When a visitor's mouse moves toward the top of the browser window (a common signal that someone's about to click away or close the tab), a popup can appear — commonly used for a last-chance discount or newsletter signup. Configure it under Customize → Marketing → Exit Intent.
Newsletter signup
An email collection form, available in your footer by default and also as a standalone block you can place anywhere (see Building Pages with Blocks). Signups are stored under Raftaar Commerce → Subscribers — see Content Library.
Countdown banner
A block you can place on any page showing a live countdown to a date/time you set — see Building Pages with Blocks.
Cookie consent banner
A standard cookie-consent notice shown automatically to visitors — there are no settings to configure, it's simply always on.
Urgency & activity messaging
A set of small touches designed to add energy to your product pages:
- "X sold in the last 24 hours" — based on your store's real, actual order data for that product, automatically calculated and refreshed hourly.
- "Only X left" — reflects your real, current stock level for that product.
- "Order in X hours for same-day dispatch" — a countdown to a same-day dispatch cut-off time (5 PM store time).
- Live viewer count ("32 people viewing this right now") — an illustrative activity indicator, off by default. Turn it on under Customize → Shop & Products → Single Product, where you can also set the number range it displays within and customize the label text.
- Customer activity toasts — small pop-up messages like "Sarah in London just purchased this", drawn from a list of example entries you write yourself under Raftaar Commerce → Social Proof. The entries editor itself notes that no real customer data is used — write these as realistic, on-brand examples for your store. Tip: use the
{product}placeholder anywhere in a message and it's automatically swapped for whichever product the visitor is currently viewing, so one entry like "purchased {product}" works across your whole catalog instead of needing one entry per product.
The sold-count, stock-level, and dispatch-countdown numbers above are always real. The live viewer count and activity toasts are illustrative examples you control, meant to add visual energy to a product page the same way many stores use lightweight engagement messaging — not a live feed of literal visitor activity. Because of that, it's worth writing toast messages that read as plausible examples rather than oddly specific claims, and being mindful of how you present the live viewer count in your marketing to stay comfortably within your local advertising guidelines. If you'd rather not use either, both can be switched off from the Customizer.
