16 โ Performance & SEO
What's already built in to help your store load fast and be search-engine friendly โ most of this needs no setup at all.
Built for speed
The theme's own interactive features โ cart drawer, search, wishlist, swatches, and the rest โ are built without jQuery, and without the usual pile of separate plugins most WooCommerce stores rely on for these same things. All of that is native to the theme itself, which means less code loading on every page. (WooCommerce itself still loads a small jQuery-based script of its own for basic cart-count syncing, which is normal and outside the theme's control.) Fonts, the carousel, and the theme's own styling/scripts load in a way that doesn't hold up your page's first paint. Out of the box, the theme is designed to score 90+ on Google PageSpeed.
A few specific things working in the background:
- Heavier libraries only load where needed. For example, the carousel/slider library only loads on pages that actually use a carousel โ not on every page site-wide.
- Instant page transitions. Turning on AJAX Navigation (Customize โ Performance) makes clicking between pages feel instant, without a full page reload each time. This is optional โ turn it off if you'd prefer standard page loads.
- A "critical CSS" system loads just enough styling to render the very top of the page instantly, with the rest following right behind โ reducing the flash of unstyled content some sites show while loading.
- The essentials are self-hosted, not borrowed from third-party servers. The default font, the carousel/slider library, and the small engine that powers the theme's interactive features are all served directly from your own site instead of being fetched from outside services โ one less thing that can slow your site down or fail if an outside service has a hiccup. (If you switch to one of the optional Google Fonts choices in the Customizer, that font loads from Google's servers instead of your own โ the default font is the only one that's fully self-hosted.)
- Nothing your theme loads holds up the page. The theme's own styling and scripts are loaded in a way that lets the page start rendering immediately, rather than making visitors wait on them first.
If you're curious about the self-hosted files mentioned above, your Raftaar Commerce โ Dashboard page has a few "library health" cards where you can see which versions are in use and, if you ever want to, switch versions or restore a previous one with one click. This is entirely optional โ the defaults are already the right choice for virtually every store, so there's nothing you need to do here.
SEO
Search-engine and social-sharing meta tags (the preview info that shows when a page is shared on Facebook/Twitter/etc.) are generated automatically. If you're already using a dedicated SEO plugin like Yoast, RankMath, or All in One SEO, the theme automatically steps aside and lets your plugin handle this instead, avoiding duplicate/conflicting tags.
Multi-language / RTL support
The theme is fully translation-ready and includes complete support for right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, etc.) โ if your site's language is set to one of these, the layout automatically mirrors correctly. If you need the theme's own text translated into a specific language, that's a standard WordPress translation process โ a translator or developer can provide the translation file.
